Install Base Wire on a Painting Chain Link Fence

May 10th

Painting chain link fence – The thread in the bottom of a chain link fence is called a tension wire. This wire keeps the bottom of the fence in position. The tension wire can be installed either before or after installation of chain link mesh. Although tension wire is optional wire prevents the animals pushing the chain-link fence off the ground and in, or out, the fenced area.

Install Before painting chain link fence,  Wrap the wire around one end terminal posts about 2 inches from the ground and twist the end of the wire around the wire, like a twist tie on a loaf of bread, to secure the cord in the mail. Pull the cable tight for the next record, either line or terminal posts, and wrap around the post, so the cord will be on the same side as the fences when it is installed. Continue to move to the next post and wrap the wire around each position; hold the thread taut between each post. Bind wire to the final terminal post in the same way as it was attached to the first post. Install painting chain link fence. Wrap one hog tie for fencing and voltage wire around every 2 feet along the mask.
