Place a sheet of plywood 22 49.5 inches at the top of the box – that will become the bottom – and attach it to the box frame and plywood with screws driven 1 5/8 inches every 5 to 6 inches around the perimeter. Position two hinges about 5 inches from each end of second sheet 22 by 49.5 inch plywood, which is the top bank. Ensure an average of the hinges with screws 5/8, then center the lid on top of the box and the second means of securing the hinges to the back of the box.
